WordPress 2.6 scheduled launch August 7th 2008
I have just spotted this WordPress Codex page on WordPress 2.6. It outlines a couple of very interesting new features.
The most important of which has got to be the post revisions feature. This will save revisions of text amendments made to posts, allowing complete roll-back of editing. This is especially exciting for multi-author bloggers and it introduces a whole new level of administration.
Other new features include a word-count and a theme previewer. I can’t wait to see this stuff introduced into the core code, great work guys!
