WordCampUK 2009 – 18-19th July don’t miss out!
WordCamp is the conference for WordPress users. If you missed out on the First WordCamp UK last year in Birmingham, be sure not to miss out on this years event! After the resounding success of last years event, it was decided democratically that this year it would be held in Cardiff, Wales.
There is no better way to learn new things about WordPress, discuss developments and meet like-minded bloggers, developers and designers. The exact format is being discussed, but will most-likely include a number of presentations from various WordPress experts. These are not sales pitches – quite the opposite… in-fact you are guaranteed to learn a whole bunch of new stuff over the course of the two day conference.
Of particular interest is that one of the founders of WordPress Matt Mullenweg, will be presenting at the conference. It is a rare opportunity to both meet Matt in person and hear his opinions on the current and future direction of WordPress.
Also Mike Little has confirmed his attendance – who also played a major part in the early days of WordPress development. He’s not only a really nice, down-to-earth guy, but also provided some useful input to the conference last year.
The conference is for all users of WordPress – not just developers. What-ever your level of experience in WordPress, you are sure to find the conference very useful… this is the ONLY conference in the UK dedicated purely to WordPress!
Ticket prices are £35 for the two day conference, but you can get an early-bird discount by booking before June 1st mid-day and get your tiket for the bargain price of just £25 – don’t delay buy your ticket here.
