WP-CMS Post Control plugin v1.11 released
WP-CMS Post Control plugin v1.11 has now been released - amongst other minor refinements it introduces a new control to hide the bottom area or the editor sidebar - allowing you to hide the editor shortcuts and the ‘Press It’ feature.
It also allows more control over the text in message boxes. It still blocks code, but now doesn’t strip-out punctuation such as ‘hello’ and this/that.
The other major part of this upgrade follows some research into why this plugin doesn’t work for a handful of people, as I was finally able to re-create the issue! It seems that a variable could clash with a global variable set in another plugin or theme functions file, stopping Post Control working. I have now renamed my variable to stop potential clashes with badly behaving variables hanging around.
